Mortal Kombat 1 received a redesigned combat system from the NetherRealm Studios team. Therefore, it will be interesting to master it not only for beginners, but also for experienced veterans. One of the key features of the improved combat is an option called Kameo Fighter. The main character is helped by another fighter during the battle, which allows you to develop new unique tactics and combinations. Here there is unprecedented scope for creativity, which is mixed with brutality and entertainment.

In addition to the main story campaign, filled with plot twists and exciting events, Mortal Kombat 1 will feature a completely new and unique Invasion mode. In its concept, it is similar to a board game: the player gathers a squad and fights insidious invaders who arrive from other dimensions. By winning and passing trials, our warriors open up new territories for exploration, grow in levels, and find loot and in-game currency. The formula looks incredibly fun and replayable, so it will serve as a pleasant addition to the already familiar modes.

World-class stars were involved in working on Mortal Kombat 1. For example, one of the looks of Johnny Cage was given to the famous actor Jean-Claude Van Damme. And a character named Nitara speaks in the voice of the popular actress Megan Fox. Incredible DLC characters will also appear in special additions: the superheroes Omni-Man from Unbreakable and Homelander from The Boys. And this is only part of the surprises that the developers are preparing.

To provide the most enjoyable and fun gaming experience in Mortal Kombat 1, NetherRealm Studios has added rollback netcode support to its project. And some time after the release, the updated “Mortal Kombat” universe will be united on all platforms. This means that MK1 will receive cross-progression and cross-play support.
